Sun & Safari was created in 2020 by Kim Patrikios, who holds over 10 years experience in the travel industry. In the past few years, the business has grown from strength to strength through the amazing clients she has had the privilege of working with. Sun and Safari is motivated by a love for travel and Africa, along with a passion for meeting new people and forming relationships.

Mira is passionate about the tourism and hospitality industry and loves connecting people with special places and memorable experiences. With a degree in Tourism Management from UNISA and an international hospitality background, she brings a wealth of experience in hotels, sales and relationship building.
Mira lived in South Korea for 10 years, where she worked for several years in the luxury hospitality industry at the Sheraton Walkerhill Hotel and The Westin Chosun Seoul. She also spent a year living in Dubai, where she worked at The Ritz-Carlton hotel. These international experiences have given her a deep appreciation for different cultures, exceptional service and the importance of creating memorable experiences for guests.
She genuinely enjoys working with people and building lasting connections and is excited to be representing the Sun & Safari Collection, bringing our hand-picked portfolio of unique and beautiful properties to the travel industry. Mira looks forward to building strong relationships with tour operators and DMCs, both locally and internationally, and sharing what makes each of our properties so special.

Jonty is the Corporate Sales Executive at Sun & Safari, where he works closely with corporate clients and wedding planners to create memorable experiences across Southern and East Africa. With a background in sales, administration, and hospitality, Jonty has developed a strong appreciation for relationship-building and delivering exceptional service.
Prior to joining Sun & Safari, Jonty spent over a year supporting executive sales teams and managing LinkedIn outreach and administrative operations at Rapid Addition. Having also lived and worked in the UK, he gained valuable experience in customer service and developed a keen eye for detail. These experiences have equipped Jonty with the ability to understand client needs and build meaningful partnerships across the travel industry.
Having travelled extensively throughout South Africa and visited many of the properties represented by Sun & Safari, Jonty brings first-hand knowledge and enthusiasm to every interaction. Known for his positive attitude, strong communication skills, and charismatic approach, he is passionate about connecting clients with exceptional properties and showcasing the very best experiences Africa has to offer.

Carmen lives in Cape Town and has a great love for South Africa and sharing the beauty of our country with others.
With a degree in Conservation Ecology/ Nature Conservation she is excited to be involved in promoting establishments that value sustainability.
Carmen has been with the team for over a year already. She interacts with clients daily to assist the sales team to schedule meetings and organise site visits. Her administrative support keeps the wheels of our company running.
